Gold mining activities have a bad impact on the waters, because gold of mining is still dispose of the waste of gold processing to the river, which the current river is still used by society in everyday activities. Galundung waste contains mercury heavy metals. Bioremediation is a strategy or detoxification process (lower the toxic level) in soil or other environment using microorganisms, plants, or microbial enzymes or plant enzymes. This research aims to know the Chorella sp spray microalga. As a bioremediator on Gulundung waste in Village Hutabargot Nauli District Hutabargot Regency Mandailing Natal. The method used in this research is experiment with complete random design where there are 4 trials in which trials is A sample without the addition of Chorella sp, B (adding 1 x 105 cell / ml Chorella sp), C (adding 2 x 105 cell / ml Chorella sp) and D (adding 3 x 105 cell / ml Chorella sp). Analysis of Mercury Heavy Metals tested in Laboratory of Quality Management Department of Chemical Engineering Faculty of Engineering, University of Syiah Kuala Banda Aceh. This research was conducted in December 2022 to January 2023. The results of this research showed the average mercury heavy metal level (Hg). In trial A by 29,351, trial B 15,157, trial C 16,107 and trial D amount by 14.386. The decrease in highest heavy metal levels is present in trial D with a decrease of 51%.
