Tingkat Keramahan Lingkungan Alat Tangkap Pukat Cincin (Purse Seine) terhadap Hasil Tangkapan Ikan Tongkol Krai (Auxis thazard) di Pelabuhan Perikanan Samudera (PPS) Lampulo Banda Aceh

Abstract

Samudera Lampulo Fishing Port is one of the largest fishing ports in Aceh province, which is located in the city of Banda Aceh. The Samudra Lampulo fishing port serves Aceh fishermen, to load and unload fish and buy and sell transactions at the port every day. This study aims to determine the composition and proportion of catches obtained on purse seine fishing gear in Lampulo Waters Banda Aceh. Knowing the level of friendliness of purse seine fishing gear in Lampulo Waters Banda Aceh based on the composition of fishery products. This research was carried out from November to December 2022 using the method perpossive sampling. From the results of the study, it was found that the composition of purse seine catches at the Samudra Lampulo fishery port (PPS) consisted of 8 types of fish caught, namely tuna krai (Auxis thazard) as the main catch and 7 other types of fish as bycatch with the proportion of weight main catch (HTU) 62%, by-catch used 95% for sale and 5% for consumption and tuna krai (Auxis thazard) that deserves 100% catch. The purse seine at the Samudra Lampulo fishing port in Banda Aceh is categorized as environmentally friendly.
