    Abstract
Air pollution from the livestock industry is caused by livestock manure. Rabbit urine contains the compound ammonium hydroxide. Excessive levels of ammonium hydroxide or ammonia are indicators that can be used as an indication of air pollution. Zeolite has characteristics as an absorbent of ammonia to a material. The use of zeolite in rabbit urine will affect ammonia levels. The research was carried out in September 2022 – April 2023 in research rabbit cages and the Laboratory for Environmental Health Engineering and Disease Control (BTKLPP). This study used an experimental method with a completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of 4 treatments for zeolite content in grams (gr): P1 (20 gr), P2 (30 gr), P3 (40 gr), P4 (50 gr) with 5 replicates. Testing in this study used detectable ammonia levelsrealtime (24 hours) by the MQ-135 sensor, microcontroler NodeMCU ESP8266, relay and DC water pumps that use electricity fromsolar cell in the rabbit study cage compared to the ammonia levels of the urine of the rabbits tested using ammonia analysis using the spectrophotometric method at the BTKLPP Laboratory. The results showed the use of zeolite with different levels in sensor equipment andmicrocontroler did not have a significant effect (P>0.05) on ammonia levels. Analysis of ammonia in rabbit urine had a significant effect (P<0.05) on rabbits aged 19 weeks and had a very significant effect (P<0.01) on ammonia levels in rabbits aged 22 weeks. The use of 30 gr of zeolite can reduce ammonia levels compared to more than 30 gr of zeolite. The use of this equipment is more effective in reducing ammonia levels compared to ammonia analysis using the spectrophotometric method. This is because the tool detects ammonia levels automaticallyrealtime, while ammonia analysis takes 1 week to collect rabbit urine.
