dc.description.abstract | The results of this study aim to describe the types and function of persona deixis contained in the film Ngeri-Ngeri Sedap by Bene Dion Rajagukguk. This study uses Levinson's theory to determine the type of persona deixis and Alieva’s theory for determine the function of persona deixis contained in the film Ngeri-Ngeri Sedap. This study used a qualitative descriptive approach with the listening method for the data collection, then used the Simak Bebas Libat Cakap (SBLC) technique as an advanced technique. To analyze the data, this study used the matching method with the observation and note taking technique. The results of this study were presented using an informal data presentation method. The research findings show that in the film Ngeri-Ngeri Sedap contained (1) seven types of persona deixis and thirty-one forms of persona deixis contained in the film Ngeri-Ngeri Sedap, namely the first persona singular deixis (saya, aku, ku, and -ku), the plural first person deixis (kami and kita), the second person singular deixis (kau, kamu, -mu, and lo), the second person singular deixem of kinship lexemes (lae, bang, dek, kak/kakak, mak/mamak, pak/bapak, mang/amang, nang/inang, Tulang, eda, ito, Amang Boru, bapa uda, A/Aa, neng/eneng, mbak, and mas), deixis of the second person plural (kalian), deiksis of the third person singular (dia and -nya), and deksis third plural (mereka). (2) four function of deixis persona on that film among others are state the subject of action, declare action object, express ownership relationship, and as a series of prepositions. | en_US |
