dc.description.abstractMost of the tertiary irrigation canals in the Ramunia Irrigation Network of Karanganyar Village are still land channels, where a lot of vegetation still grows in these channels. Vegetation itself can affect several things, such as channel flow velocity and channel roughness coefficient. This study aims to determine the value of the Manning and Chezy roughness coefficients on three vegetated canals in Karanganyar Village with the conditions before and after the vegetation was trimmed. The results of this study on the three channels for conditions before the vegetation was trimmed, the Manning roughness coefficient values were each 0.46; 0.75; and 0.58; and for Chezy's roughness coefficient each is 1.51; 0.92; and 1.16. For conditions after the vegetation was trimmed, the Manning roughness coefficient values were each 0.42; 0.63; and 0.47; and for Chezy's roughness coefficient each is 1.65; 1.10; and 1.46.en_US
