This study aims to describe the types and meanings of burikko gestures (ぶりっ子) among Japanese idols shown on the Japanese variety show 日向坂で会いましょうHinatazaka de Aimashou by using Pragmatics studies. The approach used by the author in this research is a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis. By using Miller's burikko theory and burikko gesture references from CanCam Magazine, the researcher can describe the types and meanings of burikko found in each screenshot of the Japanese variety show Hinatazaka de Aimashou. The data that has been found is categorized based on each type of burikko and then describes the meaning of each gesture found in the screenshots of the Japanese variety show Hinatazaka de Aimashou. In the results of the study, researchers found 8 types and meanings of gestures, namely punsuka gesture to express annoyance, Ahiruguchi gesture to express surprise, yahho~ gesture to call the interlocutor, kappaguchi gesture to express confidence, gaogao gesture to attract the interlocutor's attention, gomenne gesture to apologize, ureshii gesture to express joy, and hanbiraki no guchi gesture that expresses someone who is thinking.
