Tanggapan Pemustaka pada Layanan Sirkulasi di Perpustakaan Ibnu Hajar Man Asahan

Abstract

The research aims to find out the perception of library users against the Ciculation servifce in the Library of Ibnu Hajar MAN Asahac The research is conducted in Library of Ibnu Hajar MAN Asahan located on JI. Latsitarda NusantaraVIII which is still in the schoof area of Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Asahan. This qualitative descriptive research employs the primary and secondary data as data source. The research informants are determined using purposive sampling technique who consist of 6 people Namely 2 library users from class X, 2 library users from class XI, and 2 library use’rs from class XII. Data are analysed ucing the technfques of data reduction, data display, conclusion drawing which aft tO analyse relevant and meaningfl data. Data are collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Then, data are collected using data triangulation, theory triangulation, and method triangulation. The research result indicates that the ciculatiton service in if Library of Ibnu Hajar MAN Asahan are namely the lending Service fit the Library of lbnu Hajar MAN Asahan still carried Out by using manual system where the library users must show their library cards to borrow library materials, the Return Service in the Library of lbnu Hajar MAN Asahan is relatively good and worLs well de$pfte of its manual system, Service for Collecting Overdue Fines in the Library of Ibnu Hajar MAN Asahan applies to all library users either for the late return of the library materials or for locing /damaging them, and Collection Service in the Lfbrary oflbnu Hajar MAN Asahan is conducted by librarian in change of collecting the library materials from every class when the users are late to return the library materials to the library. Library Clearance in the library of Ibnu Hajar MAN Asahan applies to all library users by showing the letter of clearance as a requirement. Data statistics in the Library of Ibnu Hajar MAN Asahan is made to find out the library development.
