Film pada Zaman Dahulu“Tempua dan Puyuh”: Kajian Sosiologi Sastra

Abstract

This research is motivated by literature and literary works in the form of animated films. Literature is a creative activit y in a work of art which is mediated by language and has high moral values. Animated films are made as educational materials for learning to understand and remember good social behavior. Malay literature also has a story that is made into a literary work i n the form of a film, namely the Film Pada Zaman Dahulu "Tempua dan Puyuh which has an intrinsic element. The purpose of this research is to describe the themes, characters and characterizations, plot and setting so that this research is easy in describin g the sociology of literature to analyze social phenomena, such as social facts, social events, social behavior, and social change. The basic method of this research is a descriptive method. Data was collected using observation techniques. Observation acti vities were carried out by watching and recording the entire story in the animated film to get the final results of the research. The results of the research show that the intrinsic element of the theme is wisdom in dealing with differences and the results of sociology of literature are awareness of differences. There are 6 characters in this animated film, the plot used is mixed plot, the setting used is place setting, time setting and socio cultural background.
