| dc.description.abstract | This study aims to determine the income of dairy goat breeders and to
determine the feasibility of dairy goat breeders from a financial perspective in
Tanjung Morawa District, Deli Serdang Regency. The research was conducted in
Tanjung Morawa District in February-March 2023. The types of data used in this
study were primary data obtained through observation and interviews also
secondary data through literature and the Central Bureau of Statistics of North
Sumatra. Determination of the sample by Snowball Sampling with 6 dairy goat
breeders. Data analysis was carried out by calculating income and financial
analysis of Revenue Cost Ratio, Break Even Point, Net Present Value, Internal
Rate Return, and Payback Period. The results showed that the average income of dairy goat breeders in
Tanjung Morawa District, Deli Serdang Regency was IDR 32.450.421 per year.
Farmers' income can cover production costs so that the income is positive or
profitable and has an R/C value of > 1. The dairy goat farming business shows
that by using an interest rate of 14%, the NPV is > 0 or has a positive value, the
IRR value at an interest rate of 30% is 49% greater than the interest rate. The
price BEP value is IDR 50,130 and the production BEP is 1,284 liters and the PP
value is 21 months or the same as 1 years and 9 month. Based on the financial
analysis of the dairy goat farming business in Tanjung Morawa District, Deli
