dc.description.abstract | Vegetable production in Indonesia is still too minimal to meet people's
needs in consuming vegetables. The diminishing capacity of available agricultural
land due to high land conversion for housing and industrial needs has been the
main obstacle to date. The availability of land to meet the increase in vegetable
production in Indonesia is getting less and less. Therefore it is necessary to have a
strategy for implementing cultivation techniques that have high efficiency and
effectiveness, one of which is the hydroponic vegetable cultivation technology. With
the Nutrient Film Technique (NFT) planting system, the financial feasibility
analysis method is by collecting data, compiling data, analyzing data, and then
drawing conclusions which will later be displayed on a website so that it can be
accessed widely and can provide information and as a decision support tool. The
purpose of this study was to build a decision support system regarding hydroponic
website-based agriculture in order to be able to present information by making
decisions about hydroponic farming. The farming analysis carried out is Net
Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), Benefit Cost Ratio (B/C),
Payback Period (PP), and Break Even point (BEP). The location of this research is
in Greenfills Farm, Percut Sei Tuan District, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra
Province. | en_US |
