| dc.description.abstract | Horticultural crops have a high chance of increasing the profits of farmers
in Indonesia. One of the regions in Indonesia that relies on the agricultural
sector, especially horticultural crops, is Liang Pematang Village. However, the
development of information about horticultural superior commodities in Liang
Pematang Village is still very minimal and underdeveloped, where currently all
information data on horticultural superior commodities is stored in books and
files that are not fully organized and only land owners know data on agricultural
products whose effectiveness is very limited. For this reason, it is necessary to
have a system that can overcome these information limitations, so that farmers
can maintain their production results, as well as as instructions in cultivating
horticultural crops to get optimal yields. The purpose of this study is to build a
website-based information system that is able to manage, store and analyze the
results of superior horticultural commodities in Liang Pematang Village that can
be accessed easily, quickly and practically. This research method is the Software
Development Life Cycle (SDLC), with the research stage in the form of data
collection by means of field observations from stakeholders, such as interviews
