Sistem Informasi Pemetaan Wilayah Tanaman Sayuran Kacang Panjang (Vigna Unguiculata ssp) dan Kangkung (Ipomoea Reptans) Studi Kasus Kabupaten Labuhanbatu Selatan

Abstract

Agricultural land is land that is intended to be used as land for farming or farming, to produce agricultural crops or livestock. Like long bean and kale vegetables which are very familiar in the culinary world. In relation to agricultural land, land knowledge is needed from various aspects, land area, location, existing potential, and developing ecosystems. The need for knowledge of agricultural land is beneficial for farmers who will cultivate crops in their area, thus there is no land knowledge data that can be displayed, so an information system is needed that can provide information about the needs of farmers. This study aims to build a website-based information system model using the Wordpress blog engine, which contains information on horticultural crops of long bean vegetables and kale vegetables from planting to harvesting in South Labuhanbatu Regency. The method used in this study is the method of observation and literature study, namely data collection by conducting interviews with staf and farmers in South Labuhanbatu Regency. The results of this study are expected to be able to assist farmers in archiving annual data and facilitate decision making for the next planting as well as being a form of discussion and data plotting along with the latest land images in the hope of being able to increase the selling value of these vegetables. The website was designed using wordpress CMS, Apache web server, PHP and MySQL
