Makna Leksikal dan Gramatikal Lirik Lagu Sri Deli, Tanjung Katung, dan Kebangkitan Melayu

Abstract

The research aims to analyze the semantics of lexical and grammatical meanings which are part of linguistics including the meanings contained in language. The research data is the lyrics of the songs Sri Deli, Tanjung Katung and the song Kebangkitan Melayu which are sourced from YouTube. Descriptive method is the method used in this research. The results of this study found lexical and grammatical meanings that were identical to Malay identity in three Sri Deli songs which had 24 lexical and 14 grammatical meanings, the Tanjung Katung song which had 136 lexical and 48 grammatical meanings, and the Malay Awakening song which had 46 lexical meanings and 23 the grammatical and lexical elements of the three songs still contain elements of the Malay language and the words or song lyrics in this finding were influenced by the songwriters themselves based on the author's environment and imagination.
