Pengaruh Interval Waktu Pemberian Air pada Tanah Inceptisol terhadap Pertumbuhan Tanaman Tomat (Solanum lycopersicum)
Abstract
The time interval for giving water to inceptisol soil is a very effective
factor for the use of irrigation water so that there is no wastage of water and it is
used according to plant needs, The purpose of this study was to determine the
time interval of water application on inceptisol soil on the growth of tomato
plants (solanum lycopersicum) with several water treatments, this study was in a
greenhouse scale using a completely randomized non- factorial design consisting
of 4 treatments and 5 replications. namely giving water every day. giving water
once for 3 days. giving water once for 5 days. giving water once for 7 days,
Parameters observed included soil texture. soil organic matter. bulk density.
particle density. porosity. Evapotranspiration. water supply to plants. fruit weight,
The results showed that the type of inceptisol soil was sandy loam in texture. soil
organic matter was 3.46%. the average soil bulk density 0.95 g/cm3
. the average
soil particle density 2.0 g/cm3
. the averge soil porosity 54%. the average soil
evapotraspiration 6.6-3.3 mm/day. field capacity water content was an average of
64.1%, water supply to tomato plasts was daily watering an average of 268.37 –
156.57 ml/day. water supply once every 3 days range 663.68 – 387.27 ml. give
water once every 5 days range 918.37-726.40 ml. give water once 7 days range
1,324.40- 907.14 ml,
