dc.description.abstractThis study aims to determine Japanese food restaurants in Medan that provide Sashimi food and the form of difference from sashimi food in downtown Medan with Kyubey Tokyo. The research method used is descriptive to describe the shape of the object and discussion. The data used are several literature books on Sashimi and Japanese food to complete and complete this thesis and the results with several informants, namely Chef sushi tei located in jalan Teuku Daud No.6, Medan Polonia. Data collection by literature study by reading things related to the chosen problem topic, detailed observations, and direct interviews to dig deeper into the experiences of informants related to Sashimi in Japan with Sashimi in Indonesia, especially on the Development of Japanese Food in Medan City and the Form of Sashimi Change. The results of this study show that the traditional characteristics of sashimi food in Japanese restaurants in Medan began to disappear, because it adapted to the tastes and tastes of Medan people. And also, the atmosphere of the place to eat and its cutlery that increasingly follows the style of Indonesians.en_US
