dc.description.abstract | This study discusses the forms of swear expressions and the context of using swear expressions in the drama Hanzawa Naoki Season I by Katsuo Fukuzawa which has 10 episodes. This drama talks about the life of a banker who is always given a great responsibility in a bank that filled with people who are greedy for power. The purpose of this study is to describe the forms of swear expressions in the drama Hanzawa Naoki Season I, and to describe the context of using swear expressions in the drama Naoki Hanzawa Season I. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method which aims to accurately describe the analysis of the data, as well as the literary method to collect data from literature studies. The data used are from conversation transcripts of the Hanzawa Naoki Season I along with the drama and also some literature that related to sociopragmatics and context. There are two theories used in this study, namely the theory of swear classification and the theory of context. Based on the analysis of 55 data, there are 24 expressions which are divided into 7 swear variations, namely circumstances, spirits, objects, kinship, activities, professions and general. The context of swearing is used in situations of annoyance, anger, insult, surprise, disappointment, fear, emphasizing utterances and jokes. | en_US |
