The role of nurse is as a giver of comprehensive nursing care that includes biopsychosocial-spiritual. Therefore, spiritual care is essential to boost the Covid-19 patients' spirit to recover. The research aims to explore the nurse experience who have given spiritual care in the Covid-19 isolation room of Universitas Sumatera Utara Hospital. This qualitative research employs purposive sampling techniques to collect data. The research involves 10 participants. The result obtains four themes that can be used as nurse experience in giving spiritual care in the Covid-19 isolation room of USU hospital, namely: 1) providing nursing care in accordance with Standard Operating Procedure of Covid-19 patients handling: 2) implementing the principles of professional ethics in taking care of the Covid-19 patients; 3) making efforts by collaborating with the patient's family in order to fulfill the spiritual needs of the Covid-19 patients; and 4) the obstacles that hinder the implementation of nursing care on the Covid-19 patients. The research concludes that the nurses implement the method of spiritual care indirectly based on the T. Connel Meehan assumption. The research result is in the form of Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for giving spiritual care in the hospital so the nurses do not only have technical ability but also the ability to give spiritual care.
