The success of the organization cannot be separated from the existence of good
human resources. Good human resources will support any changes that occur in
the organization. Organizations that fail to implement change will lose their
competitive advantage. One of the companies that is implementing a change in
strategy is PT. Bank Sumut. This strategy change was made to maintain its
existence in an unfavorable situation. Readiness for changes in employees is
needed to achieve success in change. Readiness to change can be influenced by
external and internal factors, such as organizational culture and psychological
capital. Through organizational commitment, the perception of organizational
culture will be strong and the psychological capital of employees will be high. So
that in this way, research was conducted to determine the influence of clan
organizational culture and psychological capital on the employees readiness to
change with organizational commitment as a moderator variable. This research
was conducted on branch office employees of PT. Bank Sumut in Medan with a
total population of 203 employees and a sample of 103 employees. Data were
collected using four scales, clan organizational culture, psychological capital,
organizational commitment, and readiness to change. The data that has been
collected will be analyzed using the Structural Equation Model (SEM). This study
found that there was no direct effect of clan organizational culture and
psychological capital on readiness to change, and there was an indirect effect of
clan organizational culture and psychological capital on readiness to change.
