| dc.description.abstract | The development of technology at this time plays a very important role in society. The presence of technology, especially Android smartphones, has entered almost all parts of human life, one of which is the education sector. Smartphones with the Android operating system are one of the technological devices that are almost owned by every level of society. Learning methods also change over time following technological developments that make access to information easier, one of which is the history of Indonesian National Heroes. Sisingamangaraja XII is one of the many Indonesian National Heroes. Sisingamangaraja XII from North Sumatra is one of the heroes who does not have an actual photo of himself. The figure of Sisingamangaraja XII circulating on the internet today is the result of interviews with Sisingamangaraja XII's closest family members who have lived life with him. Based on this problem, the augmented reality application of Sisingamangaraja XII's introduction can be one of the solutions. The purpose of this research is to apply augmented reality technology to the application for the introduction of Sisingamangaraja XII so that learning becomes more interesting and adds to the picture of how the figure of Sisingamangaraja XII. The methods used in this research are markerbased and markerless. The application developed in this research uses MakeHuman and Blender for modeling and Unity and Vuforia to create augmented reality features. This application has a feature to visualize 3D objects of Sisingamangaraja XII by utilizing the Android smartphone camera. Users can bring up 3D objects with or without using the Sisingamangaraja XII’s mohor stamp. | en_US |
