dc.description.abstractWorkspace layout has a very important role in terms of improving employee performance in an office, the selection of office layouts and the arrangement of equipment greatly influences the performance results of each employee. This study aims to determine the effect of work space on employee performance at the North Labuhanbatu Regional Revenue Agency. The results of this study indicate that a good and comfortable work space has a positive effect on improving employee performance. Workspace layout concepts such as closed and open spatial design, good and sufficient lighting, room temperature that is suitable for employee comfort, adequate facilities have a significant impact on improving the quality of employee productivity and performance. However, it still has some problems with temperature regulation, some rooms do not have air ducts, and the compilation of document archives is still not in accordance with what it should be.en_US
