Determination of Oil/Fat levels and COD (Chemical Oxygend Demand) levels in wastewater contained in UPT. North Sumatra Province Environmental Service. Where the determination of the levels of Oil and Fat is carried out using the gravimetric method and the determination of the levels of Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) is carried out using the spectrophotometric method. From the results of the analysis of the levels of Oil and Fat obtained at the sample code 186/LC Palm oil mill is 61.1106 mg/L; In the sample code 185/LC for Palm Oil Mill, it is 63.8086mg/L, ; sample code 190/LC for Palm Oil Mill of 63.5023mg/L; the sample code 313/LC is 61.6902 mg/L At the sample code 34 /LC is 65.5192 In accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of the Environment of the Republic of Indonesia No. 5 of 2014 concerning Wastewater Quality Standards, from the five samples that have been analyzed, the five the sample has met the standards of government quality standards. From the results of the analysis of the levels of Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) obtained at the sample code 164/LC/02/2022 of 248.36 mg/L; in the sample code 165/LC/02/2022 of 461.67 mg/L, ; sample code 166/LC/02/2022 is 802.79 mg/L; the sample code 182/LC/03/2022 is 0.73 mg/L; In the sample code 184/LC/03/2022 of 0.79 mg/L. In accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of the Environment of the Republic of Indonesia No. 5 of 2014 concerning Wastewater Quality Standards, from the five samples that have been analyzed there are four samples that meet the criteria of the standard. quality, namely 164/LC, 182/LC, and 184/LC
