dc.description.abstract | This research is a study that aims to find out and examine the role of
religious values in shaping work behavior in informants of PT. Berkah Mulia
Multinational is a Pematangsiantar branch of the Indonesian Super Bakso
restaurant. This research is carried out using a descriptive qualitative method, which
is a study that emphasizes the aspect of deep understanding of a problem and
compiles research that aims to describe, summarize various conditions and
phenomena of social reality that are the object of research and attract the reality of
the surface. In this study, data was collected through observation, in-depth
interviews and documentation. The subject of this study was an informant of the
Pematangsiantar branch of Super Bakso Indonesia. The data obtained are then
analyzed through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing
conclusions and verifikasi. The results showed that religious values play a role in
shaping work behavior. As Emile Durkheim said that belief and practice are 2
inseparable things. When you have believed in something, you have to practice
what you believe. However, this is not because informants know or understand the
religious teachings they adhere to, but because the religious value is a work culture
in Super Bakso Indonesia. The beliefs and mindset of the owner of Super Bakso
Indonesia make the values in his religion a work culture. Informants practice it out
of necessity, not awareness of their religious values. | en_US |
