Dinamika Kepribadian Tokoh Utama dalam Film “ Tiga Abdul” Karya P.Ramlee : Kajian Psikologi Sastra

Abstract

This study aims to determine the intrinsic elements contained in the film Tiga Abdul and personality dynamics, namely the death instinct, life instinct and anxiety that exist in the main character of the film Tiga Abdul. Data collection techniques using the method of observing and noting. The data source used is a film by Malay literature entitled "Three Abduls" by P. Ramlee. The technique of analyzing data uses a qualitative descriptive method. The theory used in this study is the structural theory and personality dynamics theory put forward by Sigman Freud. The results of the study show that there are intrinsic elements, namely plot, theme, characterization, setting and message. The results of other studies found that there is a classification of emotions and mechanisms of defense and conflict. The conclusion from the research results is that the plot used is forward plot and the personality dynamics of the main character are life instincts.
