Abstract

This thesis discusses the Organizational Culture of the Republic of Indonesia Catholic Student Association (PMKRI) Medan Branch of Santo Bonaventura in Improving the Quality of Human Resources (HR) Cadres. This thesis also discusses the strategy for recruiting new members of the Indonesian Catholic Student Association (PMKRI) Medan Branch of Santo Bonaventura. In addition, this thesis also discusses the implementation of PMKRI's organizational culture both within PMKRI (internal) and outside PMKRI (external). The method used in writing this thesis is a qualitative research method. Participatory observation was also carried out by the author in collecting data by live in with PMKRI members of the Medan Branch in Margabina. The author finds that student organizations such as PMKRI are important for students. Students can hone hard skills on campus, but soft skills will be difficult to hone on campus. The benefits of joining student organizations are that students can hone the soft skills of student organizations. Soft skills are something that is very influential later for students after graduation. Soft skills will be a big capital for students in facing the world of work. How is the organizational culture of PMKRI Medan Santo Bonaventura Branch in improving its human resource cadres to be the main focus of this research. Apart from increasing human resources, what are the benefits of participating in PMKRI Medan Branch? This paper will also answer the above questions descriptively.
