A Description of Main Characters’ Conflict in Serial Drama A Bussines Proposal

Abstract

This paper discusses conflict in terms of love through the main characters in the drama serial A Business Proposal There are four dominant characters which are involved in love conflict. The love conflicts are categorized into internal and external one that happens to the characters personally and impersonally, the love conflicts are settled down by having negotiation and sense of justice to win the solution. The theory applied is conflict with the method named qualitative. It means to describe data the in the form of dialogue and scene selected from the drama serial A Business Proposal. It is found out that love conflicts happen because frustrated situations take place when choices do not fulfill the characters’ wants in understanding what love is.
