dc.description.abstract | This final project discusses the culture of greeting in the anime Kimi No Na Wa. Writing this final project aims to determine the culture of greeting in Japan. Starting from the meaning, the forms, and their use through the anime entitled Kimi No Na Wa. The author uses descriptive qualitative methods by analyzing the object directly. Data collection techniques by non-participant observation and literature study. There are several greeting cultures used in the anime Kimi No Na Wa, namely: greetings based on time, greetings met on special occasions, greetings of apology, greetings when parting, greetings to people who will leave, greetings reunited, greetings expressing gratitude, and greetings reply or answer to expressions of gratitude and apology. In the anime Kimi No Na Wa, there is a Japanese greeting culture that is verbal such as Ohayou, Arigatou, Sumimasen, and others also nonverbal greetings such as hand movements, body movements, and attitudes that are used as signs in interpreting a sign. It is concluded that salam is a medium to maintain good human relations. Through greetings, communication will be built, so that social relationships with others both in a personal environment and work relationships will be well established. | en_US |
