| dc.description.abstract | One of the popular Japanese culture to date is the culture in the field of musical instruments. The famous musical instrument in Japan is a traditional musical instrument called the koto.This writing aims to explain and know the history, function of the koto as a traditional Japanese musical instrument and explain the parts of the koto musical instrument. Data collection is based on library research by utilizing existing reading sources, namely as references related to the subject matter discussed and then summarized and described in this Final Project. Koto is a musical instrument that was played as one of court music in ancient times, but now the koto instrument is played at festivals or other important events.
Koto in Japan plays an important role in preserving traditional music, in Japan if it is not preserved it can eliminate one of Japan's self-identities, especially in the field of music. | en_US |
