dc.description.abstractThis final project discusses issues related to traditional Japanese theater, namely Kabuki. The purpose of this paper is to describe the history, supporting elements of kabuki theater performances, designs, characteristics, and musical accompaniment of kabuki theater. The research method used is descriptive qualitative method based on literature studies from various sources and printed and electronic book literature. The results obtained from writing this final project are that the kabuki theater has the characteristics contained in the building, namely a stage that can move, tools that can lift actors so that they look like they are floating in the air. The musical accompaniment to kabuki theater is the shamisen.en_US
