Abstract

Development is a planned and directed effort to improve the welfare of human life which demands socio-cultural changes to support success and produce sociocultural changes. This development aims to realize a just and prosperous society that is evenly distributed materially and spiritually based on Pancasila. One of the developments carried out is development in the village because the village is the spearhead of government organizations in achieving the success of government affairs originating from the central government. Villages are also closer to the community so that programs from the government are delivered more quickly. However, not all villages can carry out good and effective development if the village still has many problems such as poverty, so the government has formed a new program and is still running today, namely the village fund program, where this village fund program is expected to improve living standards. public. One of the beneficiaries of the village fund program is the village of Bandar Baru. Through village fund management, priority programs have been implemented, namely infrastructure, community empowerment and BUMDes. The purpose of this research is to find out the management of village funds and the impact of the village fund priority program being implemented in an effort to improve the welfare of the Bandar Baru village community. The method used in this research is qualitative research with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques for library research, observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the priority programs that have been implemented through the management of village funds have had an impact on increasing the welfare of the community in Bandar Baru Village, Sibolangit District
