    Abstract
Analysis of Determination of Total Dissolved Solids in Clean Water using the Gravimetric method at UPT The North Sumatra Province Health Laboratory begins with the preparation of a porcelain cup using distilled water, then dried, then cooled and weighed to a constant weight. The result of the weighing is used as the final weight of the porcelain cup. From the results of weighing, calculations were then carried out to obtain Total Dissolved Solids levels with the sample code in clean water, different levels were obtained, namely: for sample 1074/L/IV/2023 a concentration of 156 mg/L was obtained, for sample 1075/L/IV/2023 2023 obtained a concentration of 136 mg/L, for sample 1097/L/IV/2023 obtained a concentration of 198 mg/L, for sample 1056/L/IV/2023 obtained a concentration of 124 mg/L and for sample 1062/L/IV/2023 obtained concentration of 332 mg/L, for sample 1063/L/IV/2023 a concentration of 294 mg/L was obtained, for sample 1064/L/IV/2023 a concentration of 238 mg/L was obtained. This study aims to determine the Total Dissolved Solids Content in clean water and compare the quality standards set by the Regulation of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia (PERMENKES) No. 32 of 2017 with the Gravimetric Method regarding clean water quality standards, it can be seen that the clean water quality standard for Total Dissolved Solids is 1000 mg/L, so from the results of the analysis of the clean water samples it is known that all samples meet the clean water quality standards for Parameters Total Dissolved Solids.
