    Abstract
    Analysis of dissolved metal content and total metal Zn and Cd has been carried out in Palm Oil Mill (PKS) waste water. This research was conducted at PT. Citra Lestari Enviro. Analysis of dissolved metal content and total metal Zn and Cd used the Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry (AAS) method. The purpose of this study was to find out metal content was present in the sample. The test sample used was two, namely PKS Aek Batu wastewater and PKS Riau wastewater. From the results of the analysis of dissolved metal levels of Zn with the Aek Batu PKS wastewater sample of 0.0387 mg/L; and for the total metal content of 0.4503 mg/L. For the Riau PKS wastewater sample the dissolved metal content of Zn was 0.1336 mg/L; and for the total metal content of 0.0620 mg/L. As for the analysis of Cd dissolved metal content with the Aek Batu PKS wastewater sample, it was -0.0806 mg/L ; and for metal content the total is -0.4116 mg/L. For Riau PKS wastewater samples, the Cd dissolved metal content was -0.4171 mg/L; and for the total metal content of -0.0824 mg/L. From the results of the analysis, it was found that the Zn metal content found in the test samples of PKS Aek Batu wastewater and PKS Riau wastewater did not have a big impact on the community. For the results of the analysis of Cd levels obtained in the test samples of Aek Batu PKS wastewater and Riau PKS wastewater were still very low and safe to use when flowing into waters.
