The purpose of this research is to examine and identify community interventions in the Serikat Petani Indonesia (SPI) community organization in Pamah Village, Silinda sub district, Serdang Bedagai Regency. Various issues of peasant welfare were the catalyst for the Indonesian Peasant Union to intervene in the community as a kind of peasant economic development initiative through the founding of a peasant cooperative in Pamah Village. This study's method is qualitative, including a descriptive description of the research subject. Primary data was gathered by observation, interviews, and documentation, and secondary data was gathered through literature research. Based on field observations and research, community interventions carried out by the Indonesian Peasant Union to empower their members tend to take a locality development approach. However, there are certain crossovers with other community intervention methods.en_US
