dc.description.abstractAn analysis has been carried out to determine the levels of Free Fatty Acid (FFA) and the color of Palm Kernel Oil (PKO) at PT. Prime Agrojaya. Determination of Free Fatty Acid (FFA) levels was carried out using the trimetric method, which is a quantitative chemical analysis method used to determine the level or concentration of a compound in a known analyte. Color analysis using the organoleptic tintometer method, which is a colorimetric analysis method used to determine the amount of substance from the color produced from the analyte. The results of the analysis obtained, the Free Fatty Acid (FFA) content was an average of 4.63%, and Color with an average of 6,05 R/45 Y. TBased on the data that has been obtained it can be concluded that. Palm Kernel Oil (PKO) is has complied with quality standards for Free Fatty Acid content, and color. In accordance with SNI 01-0003-1987 concerning Palm Kernel Oil, where the quality standard value of Palm Kernel Oil for free fatty acid content is <5%, and color is 8.0 R/70Y according to WI-QC-017 RO (WI Company).en_US
