dc.description.abstract | Corporate social responsibility or often called Corporate Social
Responsibility (CSR) is an important thing in a company with the aim of reducing the
differences between the rich and poor layers of society in various corners of the
world. Companies cannot progress if in the midst of a poor community or an
environment that does not support their existence, companies must show concern for
social problems that exist in the community, because companies need the community
to increase their entrepreneurial potential and the environment for the company's
existence in the future. However, it is possible that every company is still not optimal
in implementing the company's CSR concept. PT Charoen Popkhand Indonesia is a
company that is based on the triple bottom lines (profit, people, planet) as a company
based on the three pillars of sustainability in carrying out its corporate social
responsibility. The company's activities in carrying out social responsibility are
carrying out various social activities, but are considered only for short term needs.
By using a descriptive research method with a qualitative approach this research was
