Research on the analysis of ammonia and total suspended solids in samples of wastewater tests has been carried out at the Center for Environmental Health Engineering and Disease Control (BTKLPP) Class I Medan with a spectrophotometric method. This study aims to determine the levels of ammonia and total suspended solids in wastewater and compare them with the quality standards set by the Regulation of the Minister of Environment and Forestry of the Republic of Indonesia No. 68 of 2016. The results of the analysis of ammonia levels carried out were <0.013 mg/L in test sample number 225; 7.2 mg/l in test sample number 226; <0.013 mg/L in sample number 227; 7.3 mg/L in test sample number 302 and 6.5 mg/L in test sample number 303, the ammonia content still meets the quality standard of 10 mg/L. The results of the total suspended solids analysis carried out were 23 mg/L in test sample number 225; 22 mg/L in sample number 226; 20 mg/L in sample 227; 23 mg/L in sample 302; 19 mg/L in test sample number 303, total suspended solids still meet the quality standard of 30 mg/L.
