| dc.description.abstract | Research has been carried out which aims to determine the quality of cement around the city of Medan. This test is carried out whether it is in accordance with the provisions of the quality standard SNI 7064 – 2014. The parameters used are Insoluble Residue (IR) and Compressive Strength. From the research results, it was found that the Insoluble Residue (IR) value for sample A was 6,33%, sample B was 3,39%, sample C was 2,275 and sample D was 15,05%. For the Compressive Strength value of sample A 3D of 181,0171 kg/cm2, 7D of 224,9458 kg/cm2, 28D of 346,2493 kg/cm2 ; Sample B 3D of 188,1995 kg/cm2, 7D of 225,5576 kg/cm2, 28D of 347,1874 kg/cm2 ; Sample C 3D of 178,3659 kg/cm2, 7D of 220,6222 kg/cm2, 28D of 340,8245 kg/cm2 and Sample D 3D of 191,5812 kg/cm2, 7D of 231,3495 kg/cm2, 28D of 352,0820 kg/cm2. For PCC cement there is no quality standard regarding the value of insoluble residue, when the valua of compressive strength meets SNI 7064 – 2014 standards, the value of insoluble residue also meets. It can be seen that the higher the value of insoluble residue, the lower the cementitious strength of the cement. | en_US |
