E-Parking is a meter-based parking system that works electronically with
a computerized system in real time, payment with an electronic money card
scanner or e-money. In this case the community as users still have problems in
using it such as standard operating procedures for payments that they do not
understand, there are still illegal fees that often occur, and in terms of
implementation there is a lack of coordination between the government and other
(private) parties.
This study aims to determine the effect of E-Parking Effectiveness on
Community Satisfaction in paying parking fees in Medan City. This research
method uses quantitative methods with the type of associative research. Data
collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires using simple random
sampling techniques and as many as 100 people as respondents in this study. The
data collection technique used was SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) with the
SmartPLS program for data analysis purposes.
The results of this study indicate that effectiveness is in the agree
category with a score of 3.69 and community satisfaction is in the agree category
with a score of 3.66. The t-statistic value is 19.854 and the t-table value is 1.29,
then the t-statistic ˃ t-table with a significance of 0.000 that the effectiveness
variable has a positive and significant effect on community satisfaction in paying
parking fees in Medan City. The value of the R Square determinant test is 0.692
which shows the magnitude of the influence of effectiveness on public satisfaction
in paying parking fees in Medan City is 69.2% with the remaining 30.8%
influenced by other variables outside of this study
