Proses Pengawasan Program Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Trans Binjai di Dinas Perhubungan Kota Binjai

Abstract

The Trans Binjai BRT program aims to ensure the availability of cross district mass transportation facilities that are comfortable, economical, and able to reach the deepest areas to the outskirts of the city. This program is very important for equitable access to transportation in ensuring the mobility of residents from the outskirts to the city center so that they are well connected. In this study using descriptive qualitative methods with key informants namely UPTD BRT Trans Binjai employees and supporting informants namely BRT Trans Binjai Passengers. The data collection techniques in this study are in the form of interviews, observation, documentation and literature study The results of this study include: 1). The SOP for the Trans Binjai BRT Program already exists and is quite complete as stated in the Mayor of Binjai Regulation Number 23 of 2019 concerning the Establishment of the Bus Rapid Transit Regional Technical Implementation Unit at the Binjai City Transportation Service and the Decree of the Head of the Binjai City Transportation Service Number Number 814-2823/SK/DISHUB /2017 Concerning the Appointment of Trans Binjai Bus Coordinators, Supervisors and Crew for the 2017 Fiscal Year, 2). The implementation of the Trans Binjai BRT does not comply with the existing SOP due to the lack of supervision by the Transportation Service Employees, 3). Any irregularities given by the transport crew are not subject to control over field findings
