dc.description.abstractResearch on the determination levels of beta carotene content in CPO Spectrophotometry Uv-Vis method in Laboratory Customs Excise Center Medan. This study aims to determine the levels of beta carotene in CPO. This study aims to determine the levels of beta carotene in CPO. This research was conducted using the Uv-Vis Spectrophotometry method. From the results obtained the levels of beta carotene in CPO using Isooctane solvent and with absorbance at a wavelength of 446 nm. Based on the results of these determinations, the CPO value for the first trial was 602.62 ppm, for the second trial CPO was 616.42 ppm, and for the third trial CPO was 596.24 ppm. So it can be concluded that the levels of beta carotene from the three experiments on CPO met the standards set by PORAM.en_US
