dc.description.abstractAugmented Reality (AR) has become an increasingly popular technology in recent years. In the context of education, AR can be used as an effective tool to enhance the learning process and understanding of complex concepts. The purpose of this research is to create an Augmented Reality-based optical lens learning application. This application is designed to assist students in understanding the principles and characteristics of optical lenses visually and interactively. This application gives users the ability to observe how optical lenses work. The method used in making this application involves the development of Augmented Reality-based software using the development platform, namely unity. First, a three-dimensional (3D) model of the optical lens is created using the blender application. Then, this application utilizes the camera of the user's device to record the image of the lens type then converts it into a 3D object. Users can interact with the virtual object through actions such as listening to explanations and rotating the object. In this study, the evaluation of the application was carried out through user testing involving a group of class VIII junior high school students who were studying the material. The research results obtained from the application of augmented reality-based learning applications are is the existence of good responses from users in different learning experiences.en_US
