dc.description.abstract | In the current digital era, the widespread use of information and communication technology has brought significant changes in various aspects of daily life, including the service industry. Welding workshops are one type of business that faces challenges in expanding their reach and improving operational efficiency. To address these challenges, the development of an Android-based service booking application for welding workshops becomes an appealing solution. The main objective of this research is to develop an Android-based service booking application for Lot Nola Weldershop. This application is designed to simplify the service booking process at the welding workshop, enhance the customer experience, and improve the operational efficiency of the workshop. The development method used is the waterfall method, which includes stages of requirement analysis, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance. The application will be equipped with essential features such as multi-user login, service selection, and order status tracking. The booking data and customer information will be securely stored and managed using Firebase Cloud Firestore. The results of this research are expected to provide significant benefits to Lot Nola Weldershop. Customers will be able to easily book services through this application, while the welding workshop can improve their operational efficiency by automating the booking and payment processes. Additionally, this research contributes to the knowledge and understanding of the development of service booking applications for welding workshops. | en_US |
