Strategi Komunikasi Dinas Badan Kependudukan Keluarga Berencana Nasional (BKKBN) dalam Mensosialisasikan Program Cegah Stunting di Desa Blang Gele Kecamatan Bebesen Kabupaten Aceh Tengah

Abstract

This thesis is entitled Communication Strategy of the National Family Planning Population Agency (BKKBN) Office in Socializing the Stunting Prevention Program in Blang Gele Village, Bebesen District, Central Aceh Regency. The purpose of this thesis is to find out what kind of communication strategy carried out by the National Family Planning Population Agency (BKKBN) Office in Socializing the Stunting Prevention Program in Blang Gele Village, Bebesen District, Central Aceh Regency, the causes of stunting and also the inhibiting factors of socialization activities for the stunting prevention program. The theoretical basis in this study is the planning of KAP-based communication strategies proposed by Cangara. This research uses a descriptive method of qualitative approach with constructivism paradigm. The informants in this study were 6 people selected based on predetermined criteria. Data collection techniques in this study are in the form of interviews, documentation and literature studies. The validity of the data is obtained using source triangulation. The results of this study show that the communication strategy used in socializing the Stunting Prevention Program in Blang Gele Village, Bebesen District, Central Aceh Regency is tiered communication, tiered communication means communication that is carried out gradually through collaboration with various institutions that contribute to reducing stunting prevalence rates. In addition, the communication strategy carried out has also passed three stages presented in planning a KAP-based communication strategy. The factors causing stunting problems in Blang Gele Village are: lack of environmental sanitation, houses that do not have septic tanks, the mother's age is too young, the mother's age is too old, the pregnancy distance is too close, having offspring of more than two children. Factors that hinder the process of stunting problems are: too frequent human resource regulations, TPK who are still not proficient in using android, people who think the decline of the BKKBN to provide assistance in the form of money.
