Dinamika Politik Pencalonan Anies Rasyid Baswedan sebagai Calon Presiden oleh Partai Nasional Demokrat (Nasdem)

Abstract

This study analyzes and describes the political dynamics of Anies Rasyid Baswedan as a presidential candidate by the NasDem Party. This study aims to find out how the political dynamics faced by the NasDem Party in declaring Anies Baswedan as a presidential candidate. The type of research used is qualitative research method and uses observation as well as in-depth interviews and literature studies to explore the political dynamics faced by Anies Baswedan and the NasDem Party. The theories used are political dynamics, political parties and political candidates. The results showed that after Anies Baswedan's declaration, it was strengthened by the formation of the Coalition of Change for Unity in smoothing the nomination of Anies Baswedan as a presidential candidate and looking for a vice presidential candidate. Achieving the victory that Anies Baswedan can get in the 2024 election is the goal of the coalition. Long time and mechanism process, as well as factors of the NasDem Party in choosing Anies Baswedan. The proposing of names, the exit of NasDem cadres, stealing the start of the campaign, the formation of the Coalition of Change for Unity were part of the dynamics during the candidacy of Anies Baswedan. The closeness, similarity of vision and mission of Anies Baswedan, electability and survey results, sustainability of development in Indonesia, and proud achievements of Anies Baswedan are factors of the NasDem Party in choosing Anies Baswedan.
