This thesis discusses the agrarian conflict that occurred between the Sukamaju Village Community and the Bibitunggul Karobiotek Company, this conflict began when the Bibitunggul Karobiotek Company claimed 61.7 hectares of land which is the customary land of Sukamaju Village. This research aims to explain the factors of agrarian conflict between the people of Suka Maju Village and the Bibitunggul Karobiotek Company , describe who the actors involved in the agrarian conflict are and explain the conflict resolution efforts that have been made by the parties to resolve the agrarian conflict between Suka Maju Village and the Bibitunggul Karobiotek Company. The research method used in this research is descriptive method with qualitative research type where primary data is obtained from interviews and secondary data is obtained from books and mass media. The results showed that there were three factors that became agrarian conflicts between the Sukamaju Village Community and the Bibitunggul Karobiotek Company, the first factor was that this conflict was caused by different views on land ownership, the second factor was the relationship between the community, namely distrust and hostility between groups, namely between the community and the company. The third factor is the human needs factor. In this case, the agrarian conflict between the people of Sukamaju Village and the Bibitunggul Karobiotek Company involves several actors, namely the Sukamaju Village Community and the Bibitunggul Karobiotek Company who are the main actors in this conflict, the Karo Regency Projo Mass Organization which is present to help the community, and the local government as a mediator for the two parties to the conflict. In this agrarian conflict resolution effort, two paths were taken, namely Litigation and Non-Litigation. However, in this case, the conflict resolution efforts taken are still less successful, which has caused this agrarian conflict case to continue until now.en_US
