Fanatical K-Pop fans tend to follow everything about their idols, including culture and lifestyle, so there was a stigma in some societies that K-Pop fans had a low nationalism. There are several research results that showed fanaticism towards K-Pop had a relationship to a bad psychological mentality for fans. The main objective of this research was to find out whether there was a relationship between fanaticism among K-Pop fans and nationalism. The population in this study includes all K-Pop fans in Indonesia with a sample of up to 18 years and a total of 100 people. Data collection in this study used an accidental sampling with a Likert scale. The nationalism scale was adapted using the aspects of Blank & Smith (2003). Researchers also used a fanaticism scale based on Goddard's theory (2001). The data was processed using a quantitative method with the Pearson Product Moment correlation technique. The results of the hypothesis showed a correlation value (r) of 0.098, a significance (Sig.) of 0.332 and it can be seen that there was no significant relationship between K-Pop fanaticism and nationalism. So the research hypothesis was rejected. As for additional research conducted in a quantitative descriptive manner, it showed that nationalism in general tends to be in the high category and all aspects also tend to be in the high category. The results of additional research related to the fanaticism of K-Pop fans, in general, showed that the sample in this study tends to be in the medium category, but when we view from the aspects of fanaticism, the amount of interest and love aspect, the personal and group attitude aspects tend to be in the medium category. While the aspects of the length of time the individual is engaged in an activity, the aspect of motivation that comes from the family tends to be in the high category.en_US
