Analisis Neraca Air dan Daya Dukung Sumber Daya Air Berdasarkan Ketersediaan dan Kebutuhan Air Baku di Perumda Tirtanadi IPA Sunggal

Abstract

Various form of human activity that can never be separated from the use of water. Perumda Tirtanadi Sunggal IPA is one of the Water Treatment Installations with a large production capacity that supplies the water needs of the city of Medan. Where the raw water used comes from the Belawan river. Determination Exceed it Availability by demand for water can be expressed through the status of the water balance and the carrying capacity of water resources. In this study the determination of the status of the water balance is carried out by calculating the difference between the availability (supply) and needs (demand). As for the status of the carrying capacity of water resources is determined using the method twin-pointer. The availability of water is calculated by finding a reliable discharge using the discharge duration curve method based on SNI 6738:2015. The need for water is taken based on the Perumda Tirtanadi IPA Sunggal water resources exploitation permit in 2021, which is 2700 liters/second. The results showed that the status of the water balance at the IPA water intake point was a surplus throughout the year. The highest water balance occurred in October with a value of 29.03 m³/second and the lowest was in March with a value of 16.82 m³/second. The status of the carrying capacity of water resources is sufficient in February, March and June. Whereas in other months the status of the carrying capacity of water resources is moderate/extensive.
