dc.description.abstractPreliminary plant design production of soy bean powder milk has a production capacity 16.000 tons/year and operates for 330 days a year. The amount of soy beans required to achieve annual product capacity is 2.020 kg/hour. The specific task that was complete dis the detailed engineering design of Evaporator. The designed Evaporator has a weight of 565,747 ft3, a thickness of 0,182 in, a weight of 8.471,742 kg anda height of 7,9 m. The Preliminary plant design production of soy bean powder milk is planned to be built in Banyuwangi Regency, east Java Province, with a total factory area of 12.410 m2. The water demand for this factory is supplied from the Bajulmati River as much as 316.578,576 kg/hour. The planned company organizational for mis a Limited Liability Company (PT) with a line and staff organizational structure,and a total of 130 employees. The results of the economic analysis on this factory design are as follows: 1. Capital Invesment (CI) = Rp 2.173.977.833.233,00 2. Total Cost (TC) = Rp 2.127.080.987.046,00 3. Profit Margin (PM) = 23,88% 4. Break Even Point (BEP) = 23,85% 5. Return on Invesment (ROI) = 21,53% 6. Pay Out Time (POT) = 4,64 years 7. Return On Network (RON) = 35,88% 8. Internal Rate of Return (IRR) = 26,38% Based on the results of the economic analysis, it can be concluded that the plant for the manufacture of podwder milk from soy beans is feasible to establish.en_US
