dc.description.abstractAcetanilide is an aromatic acetyl amine derivative compound in the form of white granules (crystals). Acetanilide can be produced by reacting aniline and acetic acid. The reaction lasted for 8 hours at a temperature of 150oC and a pressure of 2,5 atm with a reaction conversion by 99,5%. The hot product is crystallized using a crystallizer to form acetanilide grains (crystals). This factory is designed with a production capacity of 28.000 tons/year and operates for 330 days a year . The planned factory location is on Jl. Yos Sudarso Kelurahan Martubung, Kecamatan Medan Labuhan with the required land area of 18,000 m2. The workforce needed to operate the factory is 110 people. The planned business entity form is a Limited Liability Company (PT) and the organizational form is a line and staff system organization. The results of the analysis of the economic aspects of the acetanilide plant are: Total Investment Capital : Rp. 569.651.659.607,12 Total Production Cost : Rp. 476.316.029.770,998 Sales Proceeds : Rp. 1.116.252.181.440 Net Profit : Rp. 266.546.605.004,6859 Profit Margin : 23,87 % Break Event Point : 15,45% Return of Investment : 46,79 % Pay Out Time : 2,14 tahun Return on Network : 77,98 % Internal Rate of Return : 42,42 %. From the results of the analysis of the economic aspects, it can be concluded that the acetanilide manufacturing plant is feasible to establish.en_US
