dc.description.abstractHuman Resources is the key that determines the development of the company in achieving the company's organizational goals, one of the supporting factors is by giving employees a sense of job satisfaction. The condition of employee job satisfaction at PT United Rope Medan has not shown good job satisfaction. One of the factors that can be taken to create employee job satisfaction is by paying attention to the conditions of the physical work environment, non-physical work environment and employee workload. This study aims to determine the effect of physical work environment, non physical work environment and workload on job satisfaction of employees of PT United Rope Medan. The influence between the physical work environment, non physical work environment and workload will be analyzed partially and simultaneously on employee job satisfaction. The research method used in this research is quantitative research with an associative approach. Sampling was done through simple random sampling technique and used 76 respondents. The data collection method used in this study is primary data obtained by distributing questionnaires directly while secondary data is obtained through literature studies. The analysis methods used are validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis and hypothesis testing. The results of the research conducted show that the variables of physical work environment (X1), non-physical work environment (X2) and workload (X3) have a significant and positive effect both partially and simultaneously on employee job satisfaction (Y). The coefficient of determination test shows that there is a fairly close relationship between the physical work environment, non-physical work environment and workload on employee job satisfaction with an R value of 0.737. Through the adjusted R square value, it is also known that the physical work environment, non-physical work environment and workload contribute 52.4% to employee job satisfaction.en_US
