This thesis describes: "Regarding the organizational culture of Starbucks
coffee shops under the leadership of women. This study explains how the
implementation of organizational culture in the scope of employees who work daily
at Starbucks coffee shops and how the leadership style of a woman in leading a
company engaged in the sale of coffee drinks.
This research was conducted using a descriptive qualitative approach with
non-participatory observation methods, observations and in-depth interviews using
interview guidelines. The researcher looked for data by looking directly at and
observing the work activities carried out by workers at the Starbucks coffee shop.
The results of the study show that in running the company, female leaders
have differences in communication patterns and personal relationships with
employees under them compared to male leaders. Female leaders feel closer
emotionally and personally in terms of communicating with their employees.
However, for the implementation of company SOPs there is no difference between
female and male leaders. Because it is already embodied in the company's
organizational culture. All organizational cultures in the Starbucks company
already have the same principles in every Starbucks coffee shop around the world.
These five principles are a strong culture instilled by Starbucks since a partner
joined Starbucks. This principle has always been the core culture in Starbucks
service in running its coffee buying and selling business, not limited to one
country, but also instilled in other places and in other countries.
